Quite the adventure

  • Yesterday the “undisclosed location” that I traveled to was Turner Falls Youth camp in Davis, Oklahoma along with my dear friend Jerrod Murr.
  • While at camp I surprised the super intern, Cousin Sarah…She was not stressed, she just looked that way!
  • I also got to see my favorite DYD, Doug Everaard.  He invited me to take a trip with him to the WalMart in Sulphur, Oklahoma
  • We purchased a full pallet of water and had it loaded by forklift into the back of his truck
  • This is what the water looked like after DYDoug turned the corner onto the highway headed back to camp…
  • Our first task was to move all of the water to the shoulder of the road.
  • Just FYI the Oklahoma Highway Patrol will shut down a road for you if you spill like 100 cases of water on the roadThis is DYDOUG smiling while loading the water into his truck.  He didn’t find it funny at first but by this point he was laughing about it
  • While we were loading the water into the truck a very nice young man pulled up and helped us load water.  Then a “Spring House Water” truck pulled up and proceeded to try and sell water to DYDougThe guy on the right was helping us, the guy on the left was trying to sell us water
  • It was a great day and many memories were made.  I had a great time hanging out with Murr and we had some great conversations as together we solved the world’s problems.
  • Today is a great day!  Catalyst kids are coming in around 1pm for lunch then we have much to accomplish before tonight’s service with the Drama Tour group from Discovery Church in Oklahoma City!
  • Free  nachos in service tonight!  It will be big time I know that!
  • Before 1pm I must memorize my verse for the week (Romans 12:1-5)
  • The absolute best part of today is the fact that today Robyn and I celebrate 9 years of marriage or as I like to say, the best nine years of my life!

  1. Congrats on 9 years of marriage. It seems like anymore being married for more than 5 years is an accomplishment. Courtney and I will all be married 9 years this year. So congrats to you guys.

  2. Congrats Pastor Jason on 9 years of marriage! Oh and the catalyst is amazing, I really love it. Im so happy that im finally getting right with God, and a lot has to do with the challenges that the catalyst has brought even though we have only met 2 times, but still I am so thankful for it and for you. You are a great youth pastor! :)

  3. That dude tried to sell you guys water…? Really?

  4. 9 years? Congrats Jason. I’m sorry Robyn. And what a better time to try to sell you something when whatever it is, is all over the highway. That dude was slick.
